The Phoenix Fund is delighted to have successfully invested in Adaptaglaze Ltd in December 2009. Adaptaglaze Ltd is the holder of worldwide patents pending on a revolutionary flood guard system for domestic and commercial uses. Through the Phoenix Fund we are currently in talks with major manufacturers and distributors.
The Phoenix Fund have also successfully invested in Three Wise Men Ltd, a Dublin based think tank, in December 2009. The Three Wise Men have a catalogue of inventions that we are in the process of prioritising and doing business plans for Enterprise Ireland to bring forward.
The Phoenix Fund is delighted to announce that we have been accepted as members of the Halo Business Angel Partnership. Halo Business Angel Partnership is a joint venture between Enterprise Ireland, Inter Trade Ireland and the Irish Business and Innovation Centres. The Business Angel Partnership matches private investors with pre-screened investment opportunities in start up, early stage and developing businesses.
The Phoenix Fund, through The Halo Business Angel Partnership, has successfully invested in Irish Organic Weedkiller Ltd. Irish Organic was a finalist in the Green Product of the Year Awards for 2010 and is set for national distribution from April 2010 and UK distribution for February 2011.
